The Fountain gif

This is an animated .gif I conjured up as I had fallen in love with the Film The Fountain when I saw it in the year 2007. This gif is created using a single frame as the base frame. It was print-screened while watching the film.

Southpark Avatars

The following SouthPark avatars were created by me using this website http://www.sp-studio.de/ and later photoshoped the backgrounds and minor tweaks. Created in 2007.

Another Brick in The Wall (Namit Elktro Remix)

Another Brick in The Wall (Namit Elktro Remix) by namitm

So, I came across this one through @ElktroKute on twitter and man! did I love this mix! I always wanted to mix a Pink Floyd song, never had the balls to, too scared. I had heard a lot of Ambient and Trance Versions as covers and re-mixes. But, this one, with it all its beautifully sampled sounds made it way too trippy, a rebel song made into a groovy track, I love it when that happens.

Yeah, yeah, all you purist out there, I know its blasphemous to re-mix songs, but if you knew how music is created or how computer softwares work, you should realize that when a guy mixes a song, he is probably in 'deep love' with it already and has heard it a million times and has versions of it made in his head, and fortunately for him he makes an attempt to create something new, just like we've been re-hashing and recycling stuff for decades and centuries now, we just don't see it that way as it's 're-branded' before it's 'out on the shelves'.

At-least, 'we' aren't stealing credit, in fact we aren't making money either. We do other jobs and then lose sleep to just make a mix, it's madness I tell you, makes no sense to me either, but I fuckin' love it.

You can keep tabs on this 'Mixer' and Aspiring Electronic Musician by clicking here.
For my experiments and wastage of time click here, I assure you, you'll be wasting less time than I did whilst coming up with the blasphemies.

This Band Rói Höttur (whose name I have to copy-paste because I dont know how to get those alphabets through my keyboard :) Reminded me of Pink Floyd. And Pink Floyd being equivalent to God, considering I was a Theist, I had to get in touch with these boys(as I could through SoundCloud) and thus happened the video montage for the band.

Ofcourse, this isnt an official video, and No, I didnt charge anything. This is how I've chosen to contribute back to the Music Society whose music we've pirated for so long (and No, I dont feel bad for Metallica or rest of the anti-piracy greedy musicians, they've earned more moolah than they deserve, also I'm a huge Metallica fan Up until Reload).

These Boys here may not be popular, but that is only because there isnt a 'marketing' team that most of the 'pushed' music around the World has. When I say 'pushed', I mean it in the sense when someone says "Pushing Drugs", like when they would offer college kids drugs even when the kids have no interest in it. Some day the kid would do it, because he got no other offer and God forbid if the kid likes it, you see? Well, dont try too hard. Raise your hand up if you do see.

Musicians like these need to be supported, if you are ever in the City when and where these boys from Rói Höttur (see copy-paste again) are Jammin', do make it a point to see them. If not for the love of music then for all the piracy you've done in the name of that love. Spread Music, Love will come along.

FIGHT CLUB - Not a Review. A confession of Love

FIGHT CLUB OST. Where's My Mind - Pixies
(Click the PLAY button before you continue to read, i.e. if you do choose to read. Otherwise enjoy this beautiful song)

That's how the film Ends, with that ^ dialogue and this song playing in the background and The Credits start to roll while your jaws are still recovering from the drop made 20 mins ago before this screen appeared.

Let me start by saying- Did listening to this song just Play the whole Fight Club film in your head once again? All the preachings, the truth spewing and all the 'in-your-face-bitch-but-still-I-love-you-so'? If not, then may be you are not as crazy a Fight Club fan as I am.

This Film changed my thinking. Coming across a concept (not the multiple personality disorder part) like this was like finding an oasis in the desert. This was a perfect representation of my thoughts captured and conveyed in the film by Tyler Durden's character . The insomnia was something I could very well connect to, the sleepless and sometimes thoughtless nights are not only haunting but also blissful sometimes. We all should realize that.

I'm sure this film has been reviewed and critiqued by 'experts' all over the world, I'm sure it came out with flying colors, not like I ever care what one has to say about a film. I watch and then I decide. But, this one I wouldn't dare to critique or question, for the simple reason that just as God believing people don't question their God, I don't question The Art from which I've learnt so much and made myself a better human being, more so from my own perspective.

The intriguing manner in which David Finch has caught Marla Singer's character is just fascinating. So short a film footage and still she manages to make a mark on your mind. Of course, Bob and the rest of the boys do make their presence felt but Nobody does it better than Marla when it comes to making their absence felt. I usually am not the kind of guy who falls in love with female 'made-up characters' in films, but this one was my First 'Filmy' Love, second being the Hit-Girl character from Kick-Ass :D Yup, I have thing for messed up girls. What can I say? I'm equally messed up :)

Edward Norton and Brad Pitt have done splendidly through the Direction of David Fincher to convey the 'two-minds'. Their conversations remind me of my conversations with myself, the only difference being my 'Tyler Durden' is still under my control.

And lastly, What if I could be Tyler Durden? Would I? Would you? I wouldn't, neither should you if you took anything away from this magnificent masterpiece of a film.
Always, Be Yourself.

PS: This song, 'Where's My Mind' was the only song on the Fight Club OST which wasn't by the Dust Brothers (There were in all 45 tracks on the album)
